How It Works

No matter what style of roof you have the process is similar.

1. Cleaning

To prepare the surface, the roof will first be thoroughly waterblasted, removing any dirt, debris, and loose or flaking material.

If moss or mould is found, it will be treated with our special solution — a biodegradable, slow-release antifungal solution — prior to the application of the our liquid membrane coating. This ensures the surface is clean and properly prepped for long-lasting results.

2. Preparation and Repairs

Any loose nails will be taken out and replaced with screws for a more secure hold. Ridges, valleys, and flashings will also be carefully inspected, with repairs or replacements carried out wherever necessary to ensure the roof’s integrity.

3. Rust Treatment / Sealing

Sections showing signs of red or white rust will be treated using either a rust converter or an anti-corrosive primer to stabilise the affected areas and prevent the rust from spreading further.

Next, the roof will be sealed, which prepares the surface by penetrating any porous areas and reactivating weathered, chalky paint. This step is essential to promote strong adhesion for our liquid membrane coatinf system. Additionally, our seal contains a bactericide that eliminates existing mould spores, further protecting the roof.
